Where’s the best place to get Kung Pao in the Chicago area? Bonus points if it’s in the NorthWest suburbs…
I understand there are plenty of Chinese restaurants not too far from O’Hare, but it takes like 14 hours to get to any of them
But seriously, check out Asian Bistro, described here. I used to be a Kung Pao fan myself, but have since discovered La Tsi Chicken, aka Dry Chili Chicken. The one at Asian Bistro is lacking in the Sichuan peppercorn department, but check it out. (also, more details on Sichuan pepper.).
